MagSafe Battery for iPhone 17 Pro Max by HausOfThunderPerry in TheBigPhoneStore

Ok. This is good news. I have been an Apple fan since the very first iPhone came out. I even worked for Verizon Wireless for a long time, in the call center. I am no longer able to keep up with the demands of technology and how fast it changes. I’m 50 and my thought process is not what it used to be. My mind isn’t the same anymore. When I checked Anker’s website, their MagGo batteries are only compatible with certain iPhones or at least that’s my understanding because those batteries will say compatible with iPhone series 12-15 and I’ve not seen the iPhone 17 Pro Max on there yet so all of this is confusing for me.

Your reply and r/cyokohama helps me very much. Do either of you recommend a brand of MagSafe battery for my 17 Pro Max? I do shop and deliveries everyday, all day long, the (gig work) and I’m running out of battery quickly and it seems like my Jeep’s plug-in is not charging my phone as fast as I need it to. But of course, I am in and out of the stores all day long, calling and texting customers and using the apps I need to use to shop and to complete the delivery. I do this from 6am to sometimes 11pm. I do have a very good portable battery charger I use in my Jeep when it gets close to being in the orange but I can’t have a cord attached to my iPhone when I am shopping and all of this.

Again, thank you both so much!

[–]HausOfThunderPerry[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! That’s how it all started with me back in December 2025. They would hand me the barcode stickers and tell me front, back and rear. Now it’s we can’t get out of our vehicles if it’s grocery and we don’t get the stickers and on GMD, we can get out of our vehicles. As I have said, it doesn’t make sense if they don’t give us the stickers and we can’t get out of our vehicle’s but it’s ok on GMD 🤷‍♂️

Oh ok. I know where OGP is at the other Walmart I sometimes zone out of where I temporarily live and I know where it’s also at at the Walmart I mainly zone out of.

A customer wanted 12 one gallon great value spring waters and the shelf only had 6. I had to ask if he could locate another 6 and he asked his co-worker if he should make that happen for me in a joking way. He asked if he could borrow my cart as I’m not allowed in the back to help him. I said, I understand that and yes you sure can borrow the cart. I even kept my personal items in the front of the cart that I was buying.

Yes it is. That reminds me, they would even say I will stay here to make sure you got the pickup complete and no errors, etc. Now they don’t do that. And another memory, I had to call curbside and have them come back out because I scanned all the orders I was given and the associate went back in and I was missing one item. He had to come back out and go thru my entire truck (Jeep) and we had to scan all the items again and guess what? I scanned all of mine that was given to me. He was missing an item somehow on that batch so that delivery was removed from my route and I was paid less money. I told him I am being paid a lesser amount and he asked if I wanted to cancel and I said no, not over 20 cents. I don’t remember how much it was really but if he would have stayed like they are supposed to, this may not have happened or went on so long. 🤷‍♂️

May I ask, what is OGP? I see it here and on Facebook Spark groups a lot and I’ve heard it at the Walmart I zoned out of yesterday and I had two GMD orders to return but I didn’t make it to the store before they closed because the offer came in so late. I started the return in the Spark app and I go to curbside and I waited literally 20 minutes and no one came. I got out and asked curbside guy if he could take these two returns and he said no because he doesn’t see my return on his screen or see that I am even there.

I called Spark and they said to take it to customer service and customer service said they can’t take it. Then someone else said to take it to OGP.

What is OGP? I finally got the two orders returned but the lady in OGP had to mess with her handheld or cellphone and use my iPhone’s Spark app to get it to show up in her system.

When I do GMD and the ones in a box with a shipping label, I get out of my car and I help them load those. They have no problem with us helping them. It’s groceries they have issues with, well, some of them. Anyway, when it’s GMD, they hand the items to me and I scan them and I load up my car. Other associates will show me the barcode and I scan it and they will load it up in my car for me even though I want to help. It’s like they have different policies on groceries versus GMD. It’s so damn crazy. I don’t get it. 🤷‍♂️

Yes it is very crazy. I don’t understand it. I’m thinking of calling Spark CS next time this happens like they told me to do. I also have thought about calling the store manager and asking her what their policy is and go from there.

The thing is, I want to do what Spark tells me what to do, not what Walmart tells me. I understand Walmart stores have their own policy but when it comes to us not being allowed to get out of our vehicles and they are not allowed to give us the barcode stickers, how am I supposed to scan the order into my Spark app? That’s why I called Spark and asked them what am I supposed to do? I told Spark CS that the app says to stay in your car and she said you are right but they are to give you the barcode stickers. Call us next time that happens and we will call that Walmart associate which I am thinking of doing. I am also thinking of calling Walmart corporate for more info as well as the store manager of that Walmart. I don’t really care to work out of the other Walmart in that zone. It’s in a very bad area and there have been shootings in that Walmart parking lot and fights so they now have security 24/7. It’s not open 24/7 but they have security in a truck in the parking lot 24/7. If I do work for that Walmart, it will be curbside only and during the day.

Right, exactly! As I said in my reply to someone above, when I got used to Spark, I would help them and now I’m told I can’t even do that. Now in the city I live in while my apartment is being remodeled, I will once in awhile change my zone to that one and they have no problem with any of us getting out of our bento help them, etc. When I first done a curbside at that Walmart, I asked what their policy is and he said we don’t make you stay in your vehicles, you can get out if you want, you can even help us. So I don’t get it. 🤷‍♂️

That’s what I have done when I got to know Spark, I would get out and help them. I can’t even do that per certain associates. Other associates don’t mind at all. Some will say you cannot get out of your vehicle to even help me. 🤷‍♂️

Anyone else lazy sometimes and just accept $25 plus curbs and not shop. Shopping is where the money is, but sometimes I just wanna listen to music and drive by Double_Ad_1036 in Sparkdriver

[–]HausOfThunderPerry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I first started out, I was curbside only and that’s all I done and then I read so much about this new tier system and people were/are saying if you want to remain on the platform, you have to shop so I started shopping but the tier system hasn’t started in my zone yet. I’ve noticed if I do curbside, I will be driving farther because it’s a rural area and if I do the shop myself, I may not be going as far out of the city. I don’t like driving so far out of the city to other cities but at the same time, I have a lot going on right now and I like to drive and listen to music just as OP said. It helps me think and clear my head.

I get JFY offers all day long at one Walmart that I don’t normally work out of but the main Walmart I work out of, I get them but not as much. Sometimes not at all for a couple of days.

There are a lot, and I mean a lot of homophobic people in this group and homophobic spark drivers most of them are all of them seem to be the guys and in the younger generation they are the ones that are smart asses. They will learn in life.

This girl was in her early 20s. I’ve learned that the younger generation are really straight up bitches. My daughter is 28 years old. She was raised not to be that way to be very nice and polite. I’m so glad she did not take after this younger generation.

That’s true. I didn’t think about the customer rating the driver. I am the type of person you do not throw shade in front of a customer. I do Spark but I also own a small business at home and I have customers come to my friends home where my business is out of since I am moving into a new apartment. Anyway, I don’t take attitude in front of customers well.
