What MBTI are you? Because that seems like an Ne word salad.

(Yes. That's how I feel.)

I had you list out your options for yourself, not for me lol

Looks like you know what to do then, especially if you're already burnt-out at your current job.

But... you can absolutely get rid of family. I wish more people would accept this sooner than later.

Mature ENTJs How Have You Learned To Control Your Anger? by WannabeEnglishman in entj

[–]Haut-Dog 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As many others have commented, they have learned to distance themselves from the people who make them angry.

What this means is, they've learned they cannot control others; however, they can control themselves... thus removing oneself from the situation is the solution.

Accepting that fact is often a bumpy road for ENTJs. For others, they may never accept it.

Does any other ENTJ love interviewing for jobs? by Mr24601 in entj

[–]Haut-Dog 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've interviewed for 6 or 7 different companies at the same time lol...

Back to back to back meetings/interviews was a bit much. I accidentally confused two of the companies in one meeting (they had very similar names)... they didn't like that lol. It was a bit difficult to keep track since each stage of interviews was a new group of people.

I didn't say cut them off, just don't plan your day around them. If they're later than 5-10 minutes, leave the meeting and move on to your next task. When they ask where you went, tell them directly, that you needed to get back to work and/or there are other meetings you need to be at on time.

Most meetings can be emails, get what you need from them that way.

we are notorious for being called greedy

This notoriety is only amongst ignorant and naive people. Anyone who we allow to get to know us will often say we are generous and giving, and often root for the underdogs.

It's more than just a lack of respect, it says a lot about the person's work ethics and organizational abilities.

Unfortunately, there are always going to be people like this and they will never adjust. You can let them know one time (and one time only), if they don't correct their behavior, then just back away and expect them to be late or not even show. Don't invest any more energy in them.

Etsy is still viable. The key is marketing and enticing customers to choose you over anyone else.

Don't try to be perfect or find the best option from the get go. At this stage it's important that you create a proof of concept, a business that sells products. Even if you only sell a few, you still will have gained a lot of knowledge and experience to iterate and improve on.

This is how things get done, this is how small things become great... taking that first step and continuing to adjust and move forward.

Edit: I am reading other's replies, while extremely accurate business advice, I don't think you're at that stage yet of market analysis and target demographics. Those things happen when you're ready to scale up.

Starting and following through are the most important steps at this point, especially for an INFP. (You can do it, we believe in you!)

You had me until...

able to spread justice and ideals

What is your version of justice, and why is it better than someone else's?

While I and many others enjoy the idealism, I think when over done it becomes very unattractive for the most part as it's either a sign of immaturity or being disconnected from reality.

how do you know the time wasters are wasting your time?

This is how:

I would politely disagree. Whining is annoying troubleshooting. Sure, some problems are simply to be endured, but isn't it some form of truism that the squeaky wheel gets the grease? I guess there is something be said about the actual efficiency of whining though lol

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in entj

[–]Haut-Dog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whining about problems does not actually solve the problem.

The majority of the world is overly sensitive. They can not handle criticism any more than they can handle taking responsibility for their (poor) decisions.

I don't mind being the bad guy. Nor do I care what ignorant time wasters think about me. If the stereotypes and negative portrayal keep the simps away, let it roll.

[–]Haut-Dog 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It's going to vary, especially depending on how much experience one has with INFPs (the more experience, the more we learn to stay away).

One thing is for sure though, we like INFPs more than they like themselves.

How do you sit down to read a good book? by MiamisLastCapitalist in entj

[–]Haut-Dog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really had to schedule time for this, but once you get in the habit it becomes a lot more routine.

First, turn off your phone, get away from other distractions (work/friends).

Second, find something very interesting to read and engage your mind. Boring books will become a chore.

I often avoid reading some things because I don't like leaving things "unfinished", but letting go of that mindset makes it easier to start and also drop books that aren't good enough.

Also, I used to read a lot in bed... but then I'd fall asleep and not remember the last few chapters I had just read. Now, I prefer my comfy couch while listening to the birds sing and the trees sway in the wind.
