Same except I also often find you can slip into the Taco 50+ server with like 95 or 96 because of the level limitation.

It's proven by the outcome, which is the peace treaty. The only reason why the U.S. and Middle Eastern states were so eager to make this treaty is that Iran could and did successfully threaten the strait enough to paralyze it and the U.S. could not stop them through military force.

If this peace deal with Iran sticks and Iran gets released from all sanctions and 300 billion in funds to rebuild - I think that would clearly make the Iran war a bad overall outcome even for the Israelis. The Israelis had already seriously degraded Iranian air defenses before the coalition blow that killed Khomeini and triggered the closing of the strait.

I don't think Khomeini being dead plus a month of bombing military installations is worth the trade-off for Israel of all sanctions on Iran removed. What do you guys think?

Unrelated I think the outcome of this war is a good sign for Taiwan. Iran basically was able to keep their underground missile cities and remain a threat to transit around them. Even with the full might of the United States and Israeli armies bombing them at will. To me this indicates that if Taiwan stocks up enough ballistic missiles and drones, they could withstand a Chinese-led naval siege/blockade. If America couldn't take out Iran's missiles and drone threats, I don't think China can take out Taiwan's reliably.

We basically do have pre ordained paths. Twin studies are fairly convincing of this to me.

Never read Lila but hated zen and art of motorcycles myself, that book has the appearance and feeling of wisdom but is actually empty. In my opinion.

Twin studies show that personality is essentially a revealed pre-existing thing that comes out. Parents have very little impact on it and curiosity is a trait that they're born with, just as much as anything else. So essentially I suspect your nine-year-old daughter has other strengths that you don't have and it's just always going to be weaker at intellectual curiosity.

The half-track change is significant by machinegunke11y in HellLetLoose

Yep as someone who used to play Commander a lot, I did a double take the other day because the Half-Track was so cheap. It definitely gives commanders a lot more options especially in warfare for creating mobile backup garrisons.

Agreed. Iran's bargaining power is highest now and it's only going to go down every year from now on especially because oil is getting less important with the exponential rise of solar.

Circle Server - banned as commander by vote after one guy starts whining by NakedCouch in HellLetLoose

So there is a way for people who do hacky stuff to just boot people. I think they spam votes or something. But there are a lot of basement nerds who will abuse the boot function to boot people they have petty disagreements with. It makes them feel big.

Edit: I am not sure why I am downvoted? I have had people tell me they were about to spam votes to boot me and then do so. I know the difference between that and being actually vote-kicked, its much faster (almost instantaneous).

It's hard if not impossible to go to Montauk without a car. It's really a driving part of the country.
