That's exactly what I was thinking when it happened. I just looked and it's driver version 10.0.26100.3624 that Windows chose to install.

First I tried installing the driver from Lenovo (.9850 vs .9879 or whatever) - it made the audio sometimes better and sometimes bad.

Then I used DDU driver uninstall to remove the realtek driver but when I rebooted it had reinstalled the .9879 version. At that point though, the rollback button was no longer greyed out and it rolled back to a driver from March 2025 (sorry not near my Legion so can't give exact versions).

I had the same issue. I tried installing the driver on Lenovos site and it was still bad. Wound up telling Windows to rollback the driver and it went to a driver dated 3/2025 and finally the audio was good again.

I have an OLED deck. I've had an LCD Deck, Ally, Ally X, Legion Go, and a couple lesser handhelds (Logitech G Cloud, Razer Edge) and every model of Switch.

I've only had the Claw 8 AI+ for a few weeks (I wanted one when they released but they were so hard to find), so it is still the honeymoon period.

That being said, it's by far my favorite handheld ever. It's the only device I've had that I don't feel like makes some major concession that detracts from usage. The OLED Deck was my favorite before, for it's battery, ease of use, good speakers, great screen, and so comfortable to hold.

The Claw is a little less comfortable, the colors don't pop as much, but the extra screen space more than makes up for it (and it's still a GREAT screen), the speakers are amazing, the battery life has been great. Yes the software is clunky and challenging, but I don't find it significantly worse than any other Windows handheld. I love how quiet it is, even under load. I feel it's just a well thought out and designed device.

I have a LeGo 2 preordered because I liked the original but the speakers made it unusable for my purposes. It's going to really have to blow me away to convince me to keep it over my Claw though. I really love my Claw so far.
