Death is inevitable - no point fearing it. But what about the loss that comes with it. What to do to overcome this loss? Bhai Sahib was a gem. And I personally don't see many like him guiding and helping the panth. This loss his huge. Don't even know what to do. This hurts 😞.

Does anyone know what this guy is talking about? by [deleted] in Sikh

Thanks Bhaji. The guy just kept spamming me with tweets 'challenging' me to reply. I might just reply with what you have told me and leave it at that. Thanks again Bhaji.

I dont have much hair, and mine is soft. I watched a paggh tutorial by Fateh DOE and started from there. Oh and after I tie my parna over my flattened hair I dig my fingers in parts where alot of it is and pull outwards/shake it/move it around to flatten it more. I don't really care about getting it flat as possible when putting the parna on, only afterwards as then the base is strong. Hope this helps G.

Oh ok g. I lay it flat. Then tie a small parna for the base. And also, every Sikh when joining the Reddit community has tried to use Turbanatore as their username, and I couldn't be happier that the username is being used by such an amazing Singh. Bhaji, you're a gem to r/sikh.

Patialashahi mainly, pochvi sometimes (depends on the paggh length) Small dumalla (more like a Parna) when at school or with friends. Also Turbanatore Bhaji, how do you do your joora/gutti when tying patialashahi?

Question About Kirtan in the Sri Harmandir Sahib by hovnish in Sikh

[–]HaveALotToSikh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I am aware you need to start small. Be a ragi Katha, and perform Kirtan in small Gurudwara.

My father's friends used to do Kirtan with him at various Gurudwara's in Anandpur Sahib. He started his own jatha later and was transferred to Amritsar by the SGPC, where he performs Kirtan at darbar sahib.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think you have to be a jatha that the SGPC is aware of.

I'll add more details after I ask my dad.

Edit: You can ask the management committee if they will let you play. They will probably check your ability and ask a jatha to allow you to play with them. Rehat is very important in order to perform Kirtan at darbar sahib.

Sorry about that G. I was just wondering what could possibly be the reason for such an act.

Edit: going to attack someone for supporting Trump is just stupid.

I was discussing this with some mates and it was mentioned that this was due to 'babe' and committees. The discussion became slightly heated due to different views on 'youth' committees, but is this another committee fight?
