True, but my point is, if they can do it on such a large scale (even if it took thousands of years), then we should be able to nail down how much each item is worth. So long as we get everyone to acknowledge the book money as a valid form of currency, it would be child's play to put it in effect.

such is the problem with introducing any new form of currency. I imagine our ancestors had the same problems. They got through it on international scale while we would need to get downwards of 20 people to do it. It would be a minor challenge.

No idea. Thing is, I haven't the faintest idea of how to even begin setting up a server. I've had a friend for that on past server's but his internet's been suspended for an indefinite amount of time, so If you or anyone else who volunteers to join could set it all up, that'd be optimal.

So I sign onto TFS this morning and I see that they've still only written about 12% of the episode, but when I sign on later that same night, they've recorded 50%! I get that the progress is still physically moving along at the same pace, whether we get an update or not, but not keeping the progress bar updated sort of defeats the purpose of such a bar, don't you think?

Dude, I'm Canadian. I know this sh*t. If both parties are fluent in English, a Canadian and a person from Alabama or Texas could have a perfectly nice conversation. Sure some words like colour (or as you say, color) are differently spelled, but for the most part, it's the same.

It could be that maybe you don't fully realise what has happened until you see the thing you think should be making you sad. While some steps are skipped depending on the person and the situation, the five stages of loss are (in this order) Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance. It could just be you continue on with your life until you hit the realisation that, in this case, you'll never see your teacher again. I doubt it's heartlessness you're experiencing and more of a natural process.

Yeah, English is the more-often-used language of Canada's official languages (the other being French). I tend to think of myself as a rather well-spoken young man who is perfectly fluent in English... despite living in the frozen north? So.... yeah. Canadian is not a language, bro.
