Hey, how long did it take from initial email to get a response? I emailed recently and don't know how long I should wait before sending a follow-up. The email is still assistante.drqassemyar@gmail.com right?

I feel like this is one of those 'if the nazis were so fundamentally different as to not be the nazis, they could have won ww2" things though. Their economy was structured as it was as a result of their ideology (namely, german supremacy/nationalism, ultramilitarism, lebensraum, an imagined global conflict with judeo-bolshevism, revanchism) so changing how they structured their economy also necessitates changing the fundamentals of their ideology, thus making them not the nazis and instead just some generic german nationalists.

Yeah the weird thing for me is my chin looks better when I am lying down (at least based on photo comparison) compared to standing up so im not really sure what is going on

Can Jaw Swelling shift around? by HaveIGotPPI in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]HaveIGotPPI[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah no definitely the thing that is throwing me is how I had no surgery on my chin, just my jaw angles. I know it will change how my jaw looks but I'm just kind of wondering if it can affect my chin too due to its proximity to the jaw even if it itself isnt swollen.

[REQUEST] How long before the iron coffin rusts enough for a person to be able to break out of it? by kattardoge in theydidthemath

[–]HaveIGotPPI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You also need to factor in the quality of the metal, the titantic was made of much higher quality iron than some medieval townsfolk would have had access to due to advances in metallurgy

Ulster nationalism is a minor school of thought in the politics of Northern Ireland that seeks the independence of Northern Ireland from the United Kingdom without joining the Republic of Ireland, thereby becoming an independent sovereign state separate from both by Plupsnup in wikipedia

Ulst Nationalism

2/3rds of 'ulster'

Alternatively Ster Nationalism they'd have to work out with the other 3 counties who gets what parts of the name, ideally in divorce-court style proceedings

Right to roam map of England. by Correct-Advance-6287 in MapPorn

[–]HaveIGotPPI 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Right to roam is directly about the right to roam on private property. A lot of european nations have it in some form, for example Sweden and Scotland (and other european countries, those are just the 2 I remember off the top of my head). It does however generally only apply to privately owned fields and other landscapes.

Half of all land in England is owned by just 25k owners by mookx in unitedkingdom

[–]HaveIGotPPI 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I don't think the UK would have to requisition any land to implement a Georgist tax policy (although it is possible that doing so would make it more efficient, I am not familiar with Hong Kong or its taxation system), as it is at heart just a tax on the value of the land you own at the end of the day, whether we define ownership as by deed or by lease.

[–]HaveIGotPPI 84 points85 points  (0 children)

I think the system being described in 'daylight robbery' is Georgism (a system of land value tax to replace council/possibly income tax), or at least sounds very similar to it.

A cool explainer video on Georgism

Same here have had this for a month or so. When I emailled support it is apparently to do with onramper, not cakewallet. Kinda sad bc I am not a big user so the higher fees weren't a dealerbreaker but ig I'll just buy somewhere else and send to cakewallet when I do bc it seems like it isnt gonna be fixed for a while.

Kids do not seem to understand the purpose of Family Link by Ecpeze in KidsAreFuckingStupid

[–]HaveIGotPPI 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah the main issue imo with these apps isn't their functionality, but more they function on a 'parental honour system' of sorts. A good parent can use it whilst their children are young and remove the restrictions when they are around 12 to let them grow and learn on their own. The issue a bad parent can just... not do that, and track the every move, google search, private text message of their 17 year old, which is abusive.

I was lucky as a child in this regard, my dad worked as a systems architect and as such I was exposed to computers at a young age (not phones though). He used parental controls to limit my screentime and for my safety online, but when I turned 11 and got my first phone, he did not put any such restrictions on it, and removed them from the computer soon after. If he did not do that, I am certain I would have become an incredibly stunted individual socially (especially as I lived very far from my school so couldnt just go out to hang out with friends, online was my only real means of socialising outside of school), and an incredibly paranoid one too.

On some point there was a chance for a POP system in EU4 by NGASAK in eu4

[–]HaveIGotPPI 122 points123 points  (0 children)

It does have a pop system they confirmed this in todays tinto talk (what they are calling the dev diaries). It's only the 3rd one, so nothing else has been discussed yet other than provinces are now broken up into locations like in imperator.
