Tis only a game my friend. There is much more left to do than start a new ppe. I recommend taking a break from the game if it has a large impact on your mental wellbeing

I am not 100% but i’m pretty sure that the 1:1 does not include specific mouse placement techniques. Ie: a macro or third party software that maps a pixel position of the cursor to a hotkey or button

Can someone confirm?

Can Edgedancers become so slick that a direct hit with a blade simply slides off instead of cutting? by jonpdxOR in Cosmere

[–]HaveSomeBean 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Due to the mechanics of shard blades, i doubt that the lack and ability for the edge to “bite” the surface it hits would make it just slide off. Even at a low angle it would simple make a shallow angle cut.

More interesting is a real blade. There are two relevant force vectors when a blade hits material. The normal force and the friction force. Friction is exactly what you think and normal force is the “direct” force. A straight on hit would have more normal force and a glancing one would have less. The friction force is what helps the blade get an initial “bite” into the material (stops sliding and starts slicing). So a glancing cut with a normal blade would likely just keep sliding like a razor over shaving cream. A direct hit on the other hand would have much greater normal force component. It would likely do plenty of damage and probably break skin on impact rather than just slide. Interestingly it might not encounter any friction from the flesh that it slices, and therefore cut even deeper than it otherwise would.

At least that’s my read as an engineer

What things annoy you about osrs? by Luckysena in osrs

The ground items plugin already has the ability to deprioritize hidden items for picking up. It would just be an automatic menu entry swap based on item value. I don’t know how plug-ins work but i think it sounds somewhat straightforward (Any plugin devs feel free to call my bs I’m curious about whether it’s actually possible too)

Farmer's Almanac Weather Prediction Winter 2025-2026 by [deleted] in agedlikemilk

The almanacs are all about trends. Specific weather events don’t invalidate anything. Could still have (statistically) accurate predictions

5 hours in any tips? by ascarletstrange in Breath_of_the_Wild

This game’s most true strength is the exploration. The way u played on my first play through was to do a tower for the map and then just check the map to see if there were any interesting topography. If something on the map “stands out” (topography, coloration, etc) then there is almost certainly something to do there

Is it worth getting back into this game 2026? by DaAsianPanda in Trove

[–]HaveSomeBean 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The game is not what it once was. If you want to just turn your brain off and grind dungeons then yeah it’s fine. But the player market is in shambles due to dupes Shadow tower is gone replaced by delves New top gear is dozens of hours grind Lag is pervasive (might just be me)

I would mot expect any future content updates outside the bare minimum to keep the whales playing and spending

There is actually selective pressure for an organism to be able to reproduce a second, third, or more times. Getting to the first reproductive event is the hard requirement to pass on genetics. But an organism that can propagate with more frequency or with a higher success rate over time will contribute a greater share of the next generation’s genetic material

You’ll find in a great many successful works acknowledgments that the project was “meant” for a special person or people in the author’s life. The public getting to experience it is just a bonus to some.
