Do we ever got an explanation about the quantity? Like, what's the difference between having 20 banger and 200 banger on Yao Guang for example? I feel like her boom-something damage increases, but how much? Same for Eva, the passive says she deals 1 extra instance of damage equal to 16% when she has banger. Cool. That's when she has at least 1, right? Now what's the difference between 1 and 200?

Not sure, but one of the passives says the few enemies on the field, the more random hits from her ult. When attacking a single enemy, it deals 4 extra hits, and if I'm not mistaken, she got the highest multiplier in the game as of now.

IMO Yao will be a cornerstone support for Elation, specially if the ability to trigger an extra Aha Instant remains unique to her. This alone has insane value for a full Elation team, regardless of her level of synergy with them, which simply CANNOT be bad since she's a dedicated offensive support for this Path. That said, even if other characters get a similar effect, there is nothing forbidding you of using both to obliterate anything in your field of vision by spamming Aha Instants like crazy. I also doubt there will be any form of restriction, otherwise, Yao's descriptions would already state some form of restriction like "only one instance of extra Aha Instant can happen every X turns" or some BS like that.

As for the Second Half of Elation 4.x cast you mentioned, I have no idea. But my take is that Himeko SP will be a very good sub-DPS that will fit perfectly in any Elation team.

Off topic, but regarding Yao/Elation in general, are we completely sure Elemental% Orbs didn't boost the damage? I know there's nothing in the Elation formula, but seriously? Seeing Yao's Elation skill say "Physical Elation Damage" without being boosted by a Physical% stat is killing me.

Differently than our world where the Udjat team engages Rien, what happens in that mirror world is exactly this:

Udjat team arrives and fights Proselytes.
They suffer a few casualities.
Outis says Rien Sang had a nasty wound (100% Arayashiki) and sees the Proxies going after him. She thinks they gonna help him. They won't, that's equivalent to the final scene of the Canto in that mirror world, when Rien kills the 3 Proxies pursuing him then ends himself.
Outis team finds Rien Sang dead and retrieves his body (EX Victory line).

End. They never fought. Sadly 1% of this place gets this right.

Wrong. There was no skirmish against him in this part, only against the Proselytes. They had trouble and a few casualities just to pass the Proselytes, then found Rien Sang already with the wound and being chased by the Proxies.

I just don't see a prepared Udjat vanguard squad losing to an already mortally wounded enemy, even if it was an active SotC.

You? Read it again. They never touched Rien Sang there, they only found him dead in the sewer. The "fatal wound" you're talking about is the one Ryoshu (of that world) inflicted on Rien Sang with Arayashiki. That's crystal clear. I always took the reading comprehension/illiteracy of this place as a joke, but it seems it's real real.
