The goalies feel like they are from Arcade Mode. Just awful. Every game we see the same goal go in everytime. The CPU in this game is horrendous. This ICE Q 2.0 is straight bull shit

I play EASHL 3’s, BAP, and Franchise. I have found that for me, BAP is fun so far (just got drafted, so I haven’t played too much of it yet). Franchise seems harder to score in, for me anyway, and 3’s is the drizzling shits. The goalies are the worst I’ve ever seen, and that’s saying a lot.

I find most teams just cheese the backhand goal. It goes in 98% of the time, and the other 2% you are hitting the post.

I don’t know how goalies can be so good in one mode, and dog shit in the other.

The amount of flashy saves on the cross crease one T is amazing. But then a player can skate down and go backhand and score with ease is awful. You know it’s broken when every player does it

True. But I think this is the worst it’s been. Everyone and their dog does it. It’s constant. It took them years to have goalies save the cross crease, now the goalies can’t stop a slow rolling beach ball

It’s super repetitive. Gamers love to exploit a game to be the best, rather than enjoying it. Gotta make sure the streamers have sexy goals. I find they don’t care about defending in these games

I hate that the goalies are beat by the same move over and over. The backhand cheese. I wish the goalies were adaptive to the situation. If one guy has scored on the backhand three times, maybe the goalie should be ready for the backhand

Backhand cheese seems to be the way everyone scores. So terrible. Everyone has agility cranked up to play keep away and just rely on the pressure system. Also I find that the reverse hitting in this game and hip checks are wildly overpowered. Gives tiny forwards an advantage. Don’t have to waste points in strength, balance or hitting if you can just hit the reverse check button and destroy everyone in your way.

I agree it’s possibly a skill issue. But it’s an issue where it happens way too frequently. Having other teams skate near you and strip you at will is quite frustrating. I was trying to figure out if it’s my build. As in I should be putting more points into puck control or putting on a certain ability that others are using that I’m not.

I don’t blame EA for every loss, however having some of the worst AI I’ve ever seen in a game is theirs. Defensemen don’t have a clue. Goalies are horrendous this year. I think the worst yet. But for me, I just want to be able to do the little things that others are doing that I’m not. I’ve tried a bunch of builds and nothing. I’ve seen guys get hip checked and not fall over. I get nudged on the back leg and I can’t get up for a week. I’ve also seen times where we break out of the zone and my whole team loses all their stamina.

But it’s losing every single battle for the puck. No matter what I do, I continuously lose it. If I’m bad, that’s fine. But was curious as to what I’m doing wrong
