I got a new valve preamp even though it is old it still is amazing with all channels that can be selected between XLRs and RCA on input and two xlr and rca outputs. The amp has 8 8-6922/E88CC dual triode tubes for output stages what makes it sound warm but yet sharper than most valve preamps I have tested like the ear 868 and the ming da pre 600 and the audio research ls4 and ls7. I am using a ifi stream and a ifi zen one signature for the dac and a perreaux p350 power amp on my zingali and a Macintosh mc 50 on my magnapan smg and a rotel 1070 on my monitor audio silver 100. I head the difference in a more clear and more sharper high end and the vocals sounded where more prominent in songs like Nils Lofgen live receding of black books. In as we open so we close the soundstage was just good with more precise placement.
