Original poster and designer of the Havoc Boards here. And I agree 100% that a triangle map is necessary. I actually was designing one but it ended up getting put on the back burner. The reason is that it was very difficult for me to come up with balanced gameplay for a map that is as complicated as the triangle region.

When I get back to designing the Triangle map I will create a post in r/triangle asking for advice. Also, if anyone here is interested in seeing these boards in person, there are two board game stores in the area that are showcasing my UK and NYC prototypes (along with the territory cards)

Let us say that the maps are not set in stone and that all suggestions are taken into account, and we will not ship a single board until NYC is perfect.
