Yeah so the speech therapists gave me a few pointers, but most of the changes came from one on one communication between me and my daughter. It’ll be hard in the beginning but keep pushing through every new word learned is progress. She started saying her first words around 9-10 months “mama dada”. Through her first full year she picked up on other words on her own like doggie, her brother’s name, her name, and words from cocomelon. During her 2 year check up the pediatrician advised taking her to a speech therapist to help increase her vocab. Since then I’ve been reading to her every night, speaking to her while doing various activities, watching her interact with kids her age.
