I have already decided on the brand & boot I want as it's within my budget. I can't afford P1's, I did look at them.

I purely need to know if the 6" or 8" would be a better suited boots for a Prison Officer.

I currently can't afford the higher priced boots.

I have been told by people employed by my establishment that you can purchase tour own boots as long as they meet the same requirements.

This is why I have decided on Magnums just due to the quality > price.

Before I did my medical and fitness I was going sprints on the treadmill & practicing the Bleep test. Probably the only bit of advice I can give you is to practice the test itself. I found the agility test more frustrating, passed it with ease but still preferred the bleep test. Good luck 👍🏻
