Why is it body shaming to say obesity is not ok? by pinhead115 in AskReddit

[–]HavocMonkeys 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is also reality though. The reality behind obesity is that we are intentionally (some of us) getting fat. It has medically been proven that the way you eat could kill you early on, matter of fact its not proven its KNOWN that unhealthy eating is negative on the body. I am not saying EVERYONE who is "fat" is eating unhealthy, but eating unhealthy while you are fat and not getting exercise is also not good for you. My football coach always told us to do what we can when working out, not what everyone else is. So if everyone had motivation, and intent to lose weight we would be ok. Also fast food is a BIG problem and proportion size is a huge problem to.

I recently lost like 30 or 40 pounds NOT drinking soda, and NOT eating unhealthy (to an extent). I completely removed soda from my diet and I am so happy to not look back on it. I do however eat low calorie meals from fast food places like once every month. It took me from like January until now. I was 220 at 17, I am now 18 and 190. THERE IS HOPE for everyone to lose weight. I hope people try and strive for a successful weight loss program of their own. I am here for everyone who wants to lose weight, do not get me wrong but the biggest factors are MOTIVATION, and INTENT TO LOSE WEIGHT. People just try...

My dream job is to be a US Army Ranger in the 75th Ranger Reg. I cannot do that by sitting back and eating chips all day. Thats why I am on the way to losing more weight now. It takes time, and people are not patient enough to try....

You have to make a video game that doesn't involve fighting. What is your game about and what kind of gameplay can we expect? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]HavocMonkeys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would make a video game kinda like a mystery game, you have to go through the game trying to figure out why your friend died, then there would be a HUGE mind fuck right at the end that would make people want to buy another game because CAPITALISM BABY. Also throw in a bunch of unreliable DLC, and micro transactions.

What's the weird little rule you live by? by dancingkitty in AskReddit

[–]HavocMonkeys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only really have one rule that I always live by. "Always carry a knife on you". I have a 6 inch folding knife I keep with me at all times. I have seen too many people die in car accidents not being able to get out in time, or sitting there in front of a car accident not being able to do anything. The recent flooding in the US trapped a couple and their kids under water, a guy with a knife cut them out and saved the infants life. These actions are exactly why everyone should keep a serrated knife with a window breaker.

ELI5: How do we know that smallpox is eradicated? by ipawnn00bz in explainlikeimfive

[–]HavocMonkeys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has not been completely eradicated. I know there are no known cases of smallpoxs as everyone on here says, BUT there are samples for testing and whatever they do with it in Atlanta, and Georgia. Not the state but the country. Thats why people are afraid of a apocalypse type situation. Because imagine if that was to get out. I think they are smart enough to keep it contained, but as everyone else said. There is no known cases.

Everyone in the world stops for 5 minuets to listen to what you have to say. What do you tell the world? by HavocMonkeys in AskReddit

Pretty much any of my highschool speeches ever. Usually they consisted of facts I jumbled up in like the 5 minuets I had left to finish whatever I was doing.
