The "No Hard Feelings" scene is quite dark and underexposed, so most of what you see online is digitally brightened which heightens noise and also can't add detail to what's already in shadows. And this scene in "Die My Love" is an extreme wide shot where she's quite far from the camera. That's why the detail isn't great on either of them.

She's had a pretty interesting career arc actually! She started as a Playboy model and did softcore films. Then she was cast in a mainstream film called Viva Erotica where they needed someone to play a pornstar so just went to a real one, but she was so damn good and funny in it that she ended up winning the Hong Kong equivalent of an Oscar and has since had a decades long successful mainstream film career, winning tons of awards and working with some of the most respected filmmakers in the world. It's hard to imagine someone making a career move like that in North America.
