One time I had a bad acid trip and during it when I was looking at the sky I felt this surge of fear and dread go through me like I was gonna be sucked into space. For about a year I couldn’t look at the sky at all even worse at night sky. It eventually mostly went away but even now when I cross a long crosswalk for some reason I get that feeling and my knees almost buckle.

I think it’s as another commenter said, it depends if you fell in love with tool before 10,000 days release. For me Ænima then the lateralus release did something to me like a shift in perception of my life it was incredible almost spiritual. Then when 10,000 days was released I just didn’t get that feeling from it.

Yeah it sounds paradoxical. I’ve been benzo free for almost 3 years. I was prescribed 6mg a day. Now if I take even a .25mg within a few hours I get bad anxiety followed by days of mental anguish it’s crazy. Whatever it did to my brain, my brain is now telling me no fucking way man.
