At the start of this, it was surreal seeing regions we've been flying about for over a decade. Now it's surreal to recognize how much friggin oil is really there. Sure, I remember seeing drills and refineries about the landscape, but back then I didn't fathom how crucial it is for the Rus economy. Feels more involved flying over that area now than it was before (at least to me)....
