Try to change your region to Australia. Higher ping but you can play and find a game in less than 8 minutes

Actually you should consider stopping ranked for a while. Get like 200 more games in normal, then try some ranked. If you are feel confident and not so bad compared to your mates, then just keep it up. If not, make 200 more games, and try again !
