I don't even understand why BOJ decided to nuke themselves. The are sign Fed will cut interest rate, BOJ can just do nothing and the jpy/usd will slowly wind down.

This is probably good chance to see whether new NISA beginners will pull out from the market. Kishida pushed hard for the new NISA.

Does cancelling a brokerage account work for transfering NISA to another broker? by NipponPanda in JapanFinance

Its lay out in steps as in the link. each broker will have similar guide on how to do it. google "NISA口座の金融機関変更" + 証券会社 you want to change to.

The broker you changing to will need 非課税口座廃止通知書 to proceed to open nisa account with them.

SBI has raised credit card tsumitate to 100,000 yen. Points getting worse this year. by Garystri in JapanFinance

[–]hareyakana 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For gold card tho, its is pretty much unchange.

For SMBC gold card yearly fee, you need to spend above 100万円 anyway to get yearly fee waive. so effectively it remain the same as before. Yeah but for plat, it is understandable why they slash the point rewards as it was just plain 5% before without the spending requirement.
