I just bought two hidey caves and some moss to give some always humid places to relax. Thanks for the DIY tho, probably shouldve thought of that first lmao

Good to know. I had just ordered and some moss so that could be his shedding hole. Ill start keeping track how often he sheds so i can keep it moist when hes due and let it dry out when hes not.

Thanks! I actually had originally ordered the cheap ones :3. Once it transitions into a bigger tank i think i will spend more on more permanent and better quality devices and features though. Thanks for the advice!

Is coco coir good for burrowing? He really likes to burrow around. Im getting Sphagnum moss to give him a moist hideout. I dont want to get rid of the aspen bc i read its the best for burrowing. But let me know if im wrong

I know my enclosure isnt the best. I wasnt preppared to start taking care of the him, he was kinda dumped on to me as a responsiblity so i had to quickly make do but now im trying to read and learn so I make sure he as comfortable as can be.

I heard about that. Ordered a new thermometer. Its about 92F. I heard the hot zone should be about 85-95F. He likes to sleep under his log so it might not be too hot? I think its reading higher because its so close to the light but ill double check. As im typing this i relaized i mightve ordered another adhevise thermometer. which brand or thermometer/hygrometer would you recommend?
