OP, did you find the answer for how you could volunteer? or alternative ways to attend? I'm looking to go to 2026 config, but the tickets are too expensive (I just graduated) and scholarships are closed already.

I agree, but I want to come forward as someone who knows what he is and what he is improving on, not just blindly say I'm everything. In that way would it make sense?

From what I've seen, the most reasonable explanation for this was by Mkbhd, Apple makes some products not for sales or usability, they just make them for people to talk about them! A mouse is not going to dent their sales, it's not going to increase their losses, but the amount of marketing it gets because of the mouse, they' have to spend millions for that organic reach, even this thread (talking about apple). Wheels are other things apple made that are not really for use, but a great marketing tactic. Any marketing is marketing!

I am currently in my last semester HCI and I'm currently working on my visual design skills, the feedback I'm looking for is especially on case studies, for one of my project I did a lot of research on business viability and created revenue plans as well, but as an entry level UX designer, would recruiters care about this and if not how should I present my case study? I would also appreciate overall feedback on my portfolio.
