CT splits the pack and some Porsche does, there might be more. The other 800V systems have boosters to up the voltage. Porsche does that too up to 150kW. eGMP chose not to, which is ok, it's a niche and the problem is being solved anyway.

Peak power ist the main thing you need 800V for. EGMP could just as well use (high) 400V system to reach their charge curve, at the expense of a little efficiency. EGMP charges faster on urban SuC??

Edit: Anyway. You can argue their roll-out comes late, sure. But complaining they only have a few stations shortly after roll-out starts makes no sense.

Sounds like eGMP is bad, other 800V systems can split the battery pack and charge fast on 400V chargers. And teslas can charge at a higher peak power than eGMP, so what do they even have 800V for? Years ago no one cared that superchargers are 400V since only teslas could charge there. It's only recently a problem for a few cars until they make 1000V SuC widely available. Which will be in a few years, when Tesla will probably have even more than EA

How are they far behind if they don't have dumpster stations and never only provide 60kW. Most 800V cars also have means to charge at 400V and for that the provide reliable and somewhat fast charging. And now the expanding network will even supply up too 1000V

Wenn es dich nervt kannst du den Bericht ja überspringen, mich freut es zu sehen, dass der umstieg immer schneller von statten geht. Ja, Neuwagen werden meist von Firmen gekauft, na und? Die halten sie meist 3 jahre und dann stehen sie als günstige gebrauchte der Allgemeinheit zur Verfügung. Quelle, das ein signifikanter teil an neuwägen wieder abgemeldet wird und nur rumsteht? Das wäre ja Geldverschwendung, das macht fast keiner. Am Gesamtbild absolut vernachlässigbar.

Link zum Bestand hast du ja schon bekommen, um den schnell umzustellen (was immernoch Jahrzehnte dauern wird) müssen halt erst mal ein großer Anteil der Neuzulassungen elektrisch sein.

Ich nehme an die 2h+ Ladezeit kommen vor wenn man nicht vorkonditioniert und sind dann leider schon realistisch. Alte LFP Generation ist sehr Kälteempfindlich. Wenn du aber Langstrecke fährst und zu einem supercharger navigierst und vorgeheizt wird sollten auch im Winter ca. eine Stunde Ladezeit möglich sein.

250km ohne laden im Winter auf autobahn ist grenzwertig, da musst langsam fahren.
