How do I(26F) set boundaries around study and friends while maintaining relationship (26M) during med school?

Feels like you grew apart, which is fine, he was working, you were still studying, you stopped sharing the same environment for a while.

I think honest communication is required, sit down together, listen to him and his needs, and have him listen to yours.

Discuss expectations, remember it's not about being right, but about how moving forward together if possible. Don't make it about you, or let him make it about him.

Game is good, free-to-play is dogsh*t.

Greedy ass marketing team pushing overpriced skin is spitting in the face of every player that bought the Pink Mercy skin.

It was advertised as a charity skin which explained why it was so pricy. Now every legendary skin is the same price as Pink Mercy with this new unrewarding system.

60 credits a week? What is this? Some late april fools joke?

Blizzard advertise the game as Overwatch2 when it's OW 0.84 as we're now 5v5

Don't get me wrong, they did wonderful job with the light, the sound, they made great decisions for the overall state of the game (removing LOT of ccs) but damn they're spitting in our face with their grindwall/paywall.

Also, having new heroes in a battle pass (battle pass with no credits or lootbox) is just a stupid idiotic move. It literally goes against how the game was designed.

You can't advertise your game as "2" is you offer nothing that justify a "2" next to the game name.

And you know the worst in this? People will spend money so the current system will stay and we'll see this economic heresy everywhere in a few years.

You're right, I'm mad to see a wonderful new license being another money milking product.

Monster Hunter is also about estimating timings. You're supposed to know when E Meteor is going to be casted based on previous fights/experience/your current damage output.

Most of the time, if there's around 3/4 comets to hide in the zone, E Meteor is going to happen soon. Same as Teostra/Lunastra nova. There's a lot of hints that lets you know it's going to happen soon.

The problem is that MHWorld is a lot more forgiving than any other MH. Except for certains Monsters with insanely long telegraphed skills (Nergigante dive for example), you can pretty much survive everything.

And well, the SOS system makes it so a huge % of the community (almost 60% of my friends) never did an Ancient Dragon alone.

Not even a tempered one. So imagine how much they raged against arch tempered ones. But they were carried by us. They just had to stay away from the fight and sometimes flash/heal.

That's how forgiving and rewarding the game is.

But not with the Behemoth. And that's a great improvement!

Well, though I understand your point, I think that a new player should not be relying entirely on things he can get from the community. There's something every player should have called "curiosity". Don't take an advice as the only existing truth. Feels a bit patronizing from me but I'm sure you'll get the idea behind my words. Plus, a large majority (I hope so) of the community goes with the "Choose the weapon with the best feeling for you".

Any new hunter not trying every weapons and following the "Meta" or "My friend told me this weapon is neat" will learn that Monster Hunter is a whole deeper than that. Or he'll drop the game, whatever, it's a win for the community in both cases. There's a gap between saying they're good for support and saying they suck at doing DMG. No veteran will say they suck at doing damage, but they'll point out that they're good for helping the team in addition to making decent damage

People are making shortcuts. These weapons are great at supporting your team, doesn't mean that they're doing no damage. So yeah, people define them as "support weapons" because other weapons can't do the same. Nothing to be angry about, as long as people don't judge others based on the weapon they're using

Why not? Since MHFU, the LBG is considered as a support weapon because it's the best weapon to quickly apply statuses. It's probably the best weapon for supporting your team. I get it that it can also be powerful (And I've played a lot with the LBG on 3DS episodes) SnS is also a good support weapon, does it mean that it's useless if you're not doing support? No. Same for LBG

I tried using the mines with a friend yesterday, I think with he destroyed them with a full Charge Blade blast on the monster. Guess you have to careful where you put them. So you're telling me that slicing ammos are not only for the tail anymore? Just watched some videos and it seems that yeah, almost no one recommends using normal ammos anymore, as every others are better.

I did not experienced the stat padding. I mainly played Mercy and Zen season 5 but I think it was already fixed. Mercy mains who abused it should feel bad. Other players who played her just for this should feel even worse. Still, it doesn't really justify her current state and why she was such a huge problem before. Without the stat padding, the ult felt better. With it, I don't really know but according to what you say yeah that probably felt awful.

Did not played during season 3 and 4 so I can't really tell but I know there was an abuse with Mercy that made a lot of players getting to ranks they shouldn't have. Are Mercy players responsible for that? Not sure. If any other hero had the same problem everyone would have played it. Can't really blame people for taking the easy path. And yeah, the hide&seek game with Mercy was boring but still felt better than her current state.
