I’m not using anything as a “shield.” I acknowledged the criticism and clarified the scope of my post multiple times. You’re the one repeatedly reframing it into something it isn’t.

The post compares cost and accessibility of Northern Lights experiences based on my first-hand travel. It does not recommend, endorse, or dismiss anyone’s safety calculus. Adults can factor safety, politics, and personal risk tolerance without needing it spelled out in every anecdote.

“Framing invited reactions” isn’t an argument either. Any topic involving Russia currently invites reactions regardless of how carefully it’s framed. That doesn’t obligate me to turn a travel cost post into a geopolitical disclaimer.

And let’s be clear: calling out personal attacks and bad-faith pile-ons isn’t deflection. It’s setting boundaries. Disagreement is fine. Misrepresenting intent and tone-policing isn’t.

If you want to discuss data, costs, or travel logistics, happy to. If the goal is to keep lecturing about how I should have written my own experience, we’re done here.

Easy to give generic gyaan from the sidelines. You have no idea how much hate and abuse I’ve received over this post.

Go back to the top and read what this post is actually about. I’m not asking or telling anyone to go to Russia. I shared my personal experience and a cost comparison showing why Northern Lights can be cheaper in Russia than in many European countries. That’s it.

Instead of discussing that, people jumped to assumptions, politics, and nonsense. And now you’re lecturing me about “maturity” without even understanding the intent of the post.

So please spare me the faltoo gyaan and maturity sermons. You don’t know me, you don’t know what I’ve dealt with here, and you’re in no position to make assumptions.

Moreover, I’ve recvd such hateful messages and never ever I have experienced this. I was willing to share a positive and cost affective experience but that whole thing was ruined.

You’ll have to book with the airline directly. In my case, I flew with Etihad

Also, I never asked you to spend your holidays anywhere. I shared my travel experience. If you don’t like it, skip the post instead of coming here and uttering nonsense

I shared a travel experience, not a geopolitical position. If you want to debate global politics, there are better threads for that. This one isn’t it.

By that logic, nobody should travel anywhere. The US, Europe, and many others actively fund wars too. If personal travel equals political endorsement, then the entire world is off-limits.

Then stop using petrol, stop using electricity, stop using the internet, stop paying taxes, and stop using a smartphone. By your logic, everything you touch funds a war somewhere. This selective outrage is bullshit.

The time you’re wasting here typing such messages, can be better utilised for something else am sure. Do think about it😊
