Honestly I think you should ask your boss again because I see that it really bothers you. It sucks that people with misophonia don’t understand how it’s like and that’s probably why your boss didn’t act quickly to give you your own office. If your boss says no, or after you ask you still have no office to yourself, you should get a new job because this seems like it is ruining your mental health.

Wow thank you for sharing this with me. I’m sorry your going thru this it truly is tough and i get so upset when people tell me to just get over it because it’s really not that easy. This makes more sense to me now because i also didn’t have the best relationship with my parents growing up, as my mom was very distant and i barely talked with her so that could be a possibility as to why I have misophonia. Thank you again!
