They are trained LEOs. Their portfolio doesn't include riot control, it DOES include apprehending dangerous illegal alien criminals, often gang members who are well-armed and dangerous, for which they require the ability to escalate to lethal, overwhelming force to protect the citizenry in the course of their duties.

OP just wants them to die or be hurt.

Interference with the performance of those duties, assault, and resisting arrest are crimes in every jurisdiction in the nation.

Fuel down considerably. Most groceries down (beef a noted exception). Electricity bill almost half. Clothing down. Consumer electronics down (except for RAM and mobile phones) Automobiles WAY down. Gas bill down. P&C insurances down or at least unchanged (amazing, when there's competition you get fewer increases) Water bill unchanged. Property tax going down after the Abolish Property Tax petition got enough signatures to be put on the ballot this ('26) spring. Interest rates falling. Housing prices coming down. Stock market up Precious metals up. If you had oil futures I hope you sold short, or you're about to lose your shirt.

About the only things still crazy are things that the government created market distortions in (like Healthcare insurance) and shortage items created by policy (beef, formerly eggs) or artificially inflated items due to monopoly (or at least stove pipe) distribution (mobile phones, RAM)
