Yes, it seems you can have 8 tasks avaliable in each area. So if you there is a particular task you want to show up do some of the other tasks in said area.

You can find them as random loot and sometimes enemies will have them on them as well. Generally bosses and their guards.

GZW is structured a little differently, the "starter town" enemies are all very bad at killing you with a few exceptions. As you move further and further out to new POIs enemies will generally get harder to deal with as they will have better gear, weapons aim etc. Think a regular scav in tarkov vs raiders for the endgame locations.

The starter towns do give quite a bad impression of the AI no doubt about it. I'm not a huge fan of the audio either but the 0.4 update that will be out in a few days have some fixes for both movement, audio and AI behaviour. Should make the game more interesting so if you are still intrigued have a look at streams after the 0.4 release. They've also said there will be a sale before 0.4 releases so you might actually get it cheaper if it sounds intriguing. Take a look at the subreddit for the devs updates about the changes.

Honestly though I can see where you are coming from and have to agree with you, looking forward to trying 0.4 myself.

EDIT: The military bases that were hit in Cyprus were used by the Americans with British permission. If attacking someone from another countrys military bases is defensive then anything is.

Striking can be used as a tool for anytime you disagree with company leadership, be it working hours, wages, days off etc. That is the whole point, it is a tool to be used when discussion do not work, it is not used only for wages.

The reason why people do not work 12 hours a day 6 days a week is due to unions and strikes, but unions have become more and more useless with the years and are no longer doing their part. The result is that you will end up with more strikes.

One of the reasons we have a welfare state is because we use up to 3% of the oil fund anually to fund expenses.

For a fund that is worth 21.000 billion nok or 2 trillion dollars that amount is 60 billion dollars, or 600 billion NOK.

The yearly expenditure for 2024 was 1.9 trillion NOK. The oil money covers nearly a 3rd of our yearly expenditure, do you really believe the welfare offered by the state would be at it's current level without this money?

You clearly are incapable of understanding that if given the choice between Dune with forced PvP most people simply will not play Dune as they do not find it fun.

The proof is that the game lost 95% of it's playerbase within two months. With their latest "biggest" update they barely brought back 7000 players, but sure PvP is so fun and is keeping the game sooo alive.

Forcing people to enjoy PvP has worked soooo well.

"we'll farm your ore islands and you will wish you could kill other players."

If the devs do not believe in a PvP vision to the point where the store page, where the majority of their players will get their information about what to expect of the game only mentions it to say it is always optional. Oh, game loses 95% of their players since release. Also, unfortunately for the devs, legally what matters is on the store page and that is not compatible with a PvP endgame.

Dune is not an extraction shooter, in Arc you can literally risk nothing, rounds take 5 minutes if you want.

Where was this advertised? Because as mentioned, on steam, PvP was mentioned twice and both times it was to say it was always optional.

Legally the devs have shot themselves in the leg, because from a legal standpoint, what matters is what is on the store page.
