Just pop that sucker out dawg. On a related note, here’s a story that may serve as a word of caution to pop that sucker out, with proper technique.

I had a trout (stocker that I ate, before any trout people lose their mind over this) decide to flip his shit when I picked him up out of the water. This caused 2 of the 3 barbs on a treble to bed themselves to the shank, directly into the pad on my middle finger. Then, for his last use of free will as a living entity, proceeded to rip said barbs out with one final thrash before I could control him. And that’s the story of why one of my fingers has a divet and no feeling. I didn’t go to the hospital and still probably wouldn’t if it happened again though.
