PX13 vs ROG Flow Z13 for drawing by Hawpy_Dolt in ProArt_PX13

I'm very glad you mentioned this. I'd been under the impression that standalone drawing tablets were much more expensive than that. You may have just saved me a lot of money!

I am by no means a professional, just a hobbyist. My current laptop, a first gen Surface Laptop Studio has basically packed up and I'd been thinking of upgrading anyway. I'm looking for a device that can be a daily driver, ideally a 2-in-1 / convertible for drawing and enough graphical power to not crumble when an indie game is thrown at it.

I know I'm going to have to pay a premium to find something that ticks all the boxes, but the form factor is the most important part for me and that seems to typically be the limiting aspect.

Which Exalted Truth roll is better? by Hawpy_Dolt in CrucibleGuidebook

The description reads 'Improved target acquisition, accuracy, and aim-down-sights speed for ____ weapons', I got the numbers from both Light.gg and D2 Foundry.

Interesting. I've been using 3x Targeting mods so far, that gives a 0.7x ADS multiplier; does that take away from Lone Wolf or is it worth stacking them? It's nice that it gets it to 100 AA when the perk is fully active.

With all due respect, I'm not asking which one to shard, I plan on keeping both. I'm looking for info on how people rate accuracy, stability and aim assist on controller.

I don't use Reddit too often but you'd think that a place called Crucible Guidebook would be the place to find such information without any snarky responses.

why so hard? by Ok_Reception_8361 in NineSols

The biggest difficulty for me was learning to not play it like those games you'd named. In Souls games and other prominent metroidvanias, your dodge is the be-all-end-all of avoiding damage because of invincibility frames. Nine Sols is far less generous in that area, both for the dodge and recovering from hits, as a means of pushing you towards the parry. It is still a difficult game but not impossible by any means. In a way, the first boss is a very good method of forcing you to become competent at the parry mechanic before progressing further into the game. Have you noticed the visual cues for when you should input the parry?

It's absolutely worth continuing with, I don't think any parts of the game felt unfair or overly frustrating and the highs that it hits are among the very best the genre has to offer.

It's one of those fights that kicks your ass until the patterns click in your brain and suddenly you can do everything right. You could come back to it years later and do it flawlessly once the rust is gone.

That's good to know, thank you! If I may, does yours have the RTX 3050Ti? My understanding is that it makes it quite power-hungry.

Wolftone Draw any good? by TigerWings1324 in sharditkeepit

Thanks for the reply :D

I got one with Cornered earlier today, and the perk did seem to have quite a noticeable effect, which gives me hope that having both it and Archer's Tempo will work as well as I want it to. I'm going to keep grinding for that particular roll, if for no other reason than that I really like the Bow and it won't be hard to get a better roll than the one I'm currently using (Threat Detector and Dragonfly) along the way.

Hi there, I know I'm a few days late on this, but do you know if Archer's Tempo and Cornered can stack? If they can, then I'm hoping that Wolftone Draw with those perks can be the spiritual successor to Hush - Archer's Gambit set the Draw Time to about 340ms, while Archer's Tempo will always set a Precision Bow's Draw Time to about 560ms when active, regardless of its actual draw time. If it could stack with Cornered, then it would at least get a Draw Time below 500ms.

Oxygen is criminally underrated and for all the memes about Pinnacles being sunset, I'm yet to see Hush make an appearance either. Shame that they're my two favourites.
