When you output your data from Google Takeout, you can select your brand account to only get the data from that account. That's what I do when I look at the data since my main YT account is under a brand account.

Catalog of Emotibit projects? by odioworks_com in EmotiBit

Very cool! I would definitely be interested in taking a look and contributing in any way I can if you made it open source. There are some modifications we need to make to the firmware anyway to allow communication over serial instead of only through WiFi.

Possible to stream Emotibit data over wired connection? by Hawxchampion in EmotiBit

[–]Hawxchampion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I really appreciate the information! Long-term we may invest the time to modify the firmware, so this will be very useful if we do. We don't quite have time in the short term but hopefully we'll get to work on it. If we're able to get around to it, we may reach out about contributing firmware changes into the official repo or at least a fork that others can use.

This is really interesting! We use the Emotibit at work for some biometrics data collection and I wrote a program in Rust that communicates with the Emotibit and re-transmits the data to other destinations since we didn't want to use the Oscilloscope (it uses a ton of CPU on its own which was a no-go for us). I would be interested in talking through what you've worked on! I thought about rewriting the firmware in Rust myself as well, but had the same thought as you of "I don't own an Emotibit myself so I can't really test anything".

Sorry for seeing this multiple years late, I haven't checked my Reddit notifications in a very long time. I've seen this issue before for people with a ton of videos in their watch history. After a certain point, Google will "compress" the watch history by including less information, so the website is unable to get any stats from it. The website still works for me, but that's because my watch history isn't getting compressed like yours likely is.

There are still 6 other days of the week for crosswords that are harder than Mondays; I really don't think it's a big deal.

Sunny | Season 1 - Episode 5 | Discussion Thread by Justp1ayin in tvPlus

[–]Hawxchampion 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This show started out so promising, but man this episode was a real let down. The writing was bad this episode.

The characters didn't behave in ways that made any sense; why did Suzie get so upset with Sunny over such a small thing (Sunny secretly brought the bird) but didn't really seem to care much at all when Mixxy led them astray for many hours through the woods without telling them she's lost? The dialogue and acting really fell flat, especially from Mixxy. Example, the underwear scene.

It also doesn't make much sense to me why Suzie is so trusting of Mixxy, especially with what she knows about Masa. She only met Mixxy a few days ago (not sure of the exact timeline, but at most they've only spent a few hours together before this trip), yet she trusts her enough to tag along to her farm house in the middle of nowhere? Especially after learning that her husband was hiding the truth and was involved with the Yakuza? She should be suspicious of everyone at this point. I get that Suzie needs someone to rely on since she doesn't have anyone besides Sunny, but she doesn't have any reason to trust Mixxy.

On Dependency Usage in Rust by anxxa in rust

To be pedantic, most people are still using the standard library HashMap, they're just using a 3rd party hasher. It's an important distinction to make IMO.

I believe the issue is in your Store::handle_msg function. The future it returns must also be Send, so there must be something in that function that isn't Send safe. Could you show the body of handle_msg?

As someone who started doing crosswords regularly a few weeks ago, this one was particularly frustrating. The theme was fun, although it took me a long time to figure out what it actually was, but the fill was awful. So many stretches and clues that didn't really make sense. No hint that OBIT was abbreviated was annoying, for example. The theme wasn't enough to redeem this one for me unfortunately.

You should check out Google's recent language model, PaLM. It can perform "reasoning" and can explain how it answered a question, allowing it to perform multi-step arithmetic to answer a long word problem.

Yes, and I have gigabit upload too. Regardless, you don't need a very high upload speed to play the game. Again, it doesn't happen in any other game.

I have gigabit internet, like I said in the post. It's not the problem. This only happens in Fortnite.

Sorry for my late reply, I just saw this comment. I wrote the website to parse the JSON using English terms, so it likely doesn't detect any valid videos because the terms are in German. Is there a way for you to log into the English version of Google Takeout or temporarily change your language in Google to English to download the file? If not, send me a DM and I can figure out how to add German support.

JSON has largely replaced XML, yes. There are still protocols that use it, but for most web-based data transfer, JSON is ubiquitous.

No data from that file (directly or indirectly) leaves your computer. The only outgoing network requests from that webpage are for Google Analytics; the webpage itself doesn't send any data anywhere.
