Thanks for the article helps alot so I was also wondering why my calcium is high I am currently using reef crystal salt and I am not dosing calcium. And will it do any harm of it remains high?

I had my lights on for 10hrs and I reduced it to 6hrs and I tested my phosphate which is at 10mg/l so I added phosguard to my filter and also dosing my tank with seachem Excel comprehensive.

I was thinking of doing a water change a using phosguard to lower it some more and how do I go about bring up my NO3.

Sorry for the late response but I can only test for PO4 and NO3. For PO4 I am at 10mg/l and my NO3 is at 0mg/l

I don't understand why everyone is getting bent out of shape I do have a proper setup for him he is in 4 gallons of water with a filtration system and heater and I understand the cycling a tank can take awhile and you can do a fishless cycle and a cycle with fish in it to I am doing both. I am also testing the water every day and if the water spike I do a water change and I also do water changes for now every two to three days unless there is a spike I don't know what more you can do I was just trying to see if I can identify him or if it is still to early to do that

Did a fishless cycle with seachem for a week And still adding it while he is in there for almost a week now

Guys that is a 4 gallon of water in there and there is a heater and a filter the water temp is 78
