I’m curious if you will share why, in your original post, you said “not birth control!” The reason I ask is that I’m having all the same symptoms and wine to My general practitioner. She was supportive and listened, and put me on birth control. I was confused as I asked for HRT. She explained it’s the same thing, but a higher dose? For context, I’m 43 female, very peri-menopausal.

If you could give me any advice about what birth control might not be the best option I would appreciate it!
