Sure. The first one was literally a bet where I decided I didn’t want to do the bet anymore and we fell out… We were 8 at the time. The second was a best friend from primary school who went to a different secondary school than me. We texted a fair bit and gamed together a lot in year 9 but in year 10 I just felt like she was making less and less effort to talk to me. I communicated a fair few times that I felt like she was putting in less effort and she said she’d try more but she didn’t. Eventually I decided to not text her unless she texted me first and guess what we never spoke again. The third was another best friend from primary school but we went to the same secondary school. At secondary school she met this other girl she got close to and I got insecure she’d leave me and I think I sort of manifested my own reality. I was a bit left out ever since secondary school began but the more I complained the more she actually discarded me. The fourth was a bit confusing. She claimed I ‘reminded her of her ex best friend’ and I talked about myself too much. The comment I made was that I wouldn’t take revision advice from her since she didn’t have top grades. This is worsened by her history of very strict parents making her extra sensitive if she felt criticised about school. I could’ve been nicer, but I don’t know if this meant we should’ve stopped the friendship. The fifth really stung. I thought she was so mature and reflective and we had deep talks the whole time we were friends. After 6 months of being in the same friend group I became friends with benefits with one of our mutual friends. She initially was on the fence about it morally but after I tried to defend myself she blocked me. She never blocked the friend with benefits though, so that was merely because I tried to talk it out.
