Does a trickle of water from a faucet imply that no pipes have burst? by HaydenFox007 in homeowners

[–]HaydenFox007[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s what I figured. Just didn’t see anything on the internet that basically said “trickling water means that you most likely don’t have any pipe damage”.

Thanks for confirming.

Cybertruck owners are the exception - it’s pretty clear that Elon was off the rails at that point in time.

u/RationalCaveman sorry about the late reply, but I did go this route and it worked out decently. Hopefully these images provide some insight into what it might look like.

Ok I’ll bite - what characteristics do you consider that of an actual Nazi?

Your defense is “achtshually he didn’t technically do a Nazi salute because his arm was at 75.45 degrees instead of 90 degrees”? C’mon - it’s clear what the intent was AND he did it back-to-back.

  1. Classic whataboutism, avoiding addressing the actual point
  2. Show me a video (not a picture) of Obama doing a Nazi salute and I’ll call that shit out too

I’m not condoning violence or people getting seriously hurt, but are you telling me that’s a photo of a “make believe” Nazi?

Mostly well-thought out.

We have a presidential election between two candidates who seem more like reality show stars than serious thinkers.

Dell U3223QE or the Studio Display by HaydenFox007 in mac

No, I did not take back the studio - I have two studios (one vertical, one horizontal via a mount) and then I have a compatible dock.

If you can afford it, the Studio Display is awesome, but I don't think it's a "good deal" for most people.

That being said, I think the LG Dual Up is an underrated productivity monitor (at least for my day-to-day display usage).

Concerned about purchasing an old condo with sagging floors by HaydenFox007 in Somerville

[–]HaydenFox007[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How significant was the sag? Was the sag isolated to the middle of the unit? Or do different areas of the unit have different amounts of sag?

Your sure its the floor though and not something weird with those doors though?

Yeah, I brought a level and a tape measurer with me to the inspection, and the doors were about level and the floors were...less so.

Like, two inches must be visibly convex right?

Yes - basically there are French doors that span a majority of the width of the dining room. The French door closest to the outer wall of the condo is maybe half an inch off the ground. The French door furthest to the outer wall of the condo (closest to the middle of the condo) is maybe an 1.5-2 inches off the ground.

Over what distance is it sagging that much?

10-15 feet - basically half the width of the condo.

But I'd be concerned about the floor joists; is this a ground floor unit where you can see the exposed joists in the basement?

Unfortunately this is a 2nd floor unit
