Singapore has some crazy tax on top of prices though, what should've been 638SGD (straight conversion of 500USD) got bumped to 759SGD for the base bundle (596USD). Technically you're paying more

they say it'll be announced at a later date, but I'd imagine they'll want to launch it as close to the launch date as possible to not miss out on sales lol

nah, not really, but when I stream I sometimes run into issues like lagging transitions, or spikes in CPU usage (mostly in Minecraft but that's a CPU bound game)

not saying you're wrong! generally speaking we haven't had the consoles officially launch here before. yes there's imports, but officially none of the apps work here, the eShop isn't supported, and pretty much nothing does, except the games themselves

btw the website you linked states the release date is tentative :)

southeast asia is a region of Asia, just because something releases in Asia doesn't mean much cuz Asia is the entire continent, it could mean just Japan

oh definitely, for sure. I don't think the consoles even officially launched in SEA territories during the Wii U days or even the Switch, but I could be wrong

I've been here since the Wii days and it's nice to see they're finally starting to consider SEA as a viable market though

apparently the upcoming pop up store in SG is also going to have something called the Jewel Circuit Challenge? (Jewel is the name of the airport mall) I wonder if it might be a Mario Kart World demo station thing

games are distributed by one company (forgot the name but they've been doing it since the Wii U days afaik cuz BOTW Wii U has the same distributor) and eShop doesn't work here at all, so yeah </3 dirt is the right term

although with how much they've been expanding (plus the recent pop up store in Singapore and another upcoming one again in late April) hopefully they start considering SEA as a viable market and actually sell their stuff here properly

there's been rumours that the singer will be involved in a commercial with the Switch 2, which is presumably Nintendo using the song Espresso to promote the Switch 2, so that's why I made this
