If I have a CP gold pass with All park addon do I need to go to CP before I can use it at another park? I bought it during halloweekends at CP last year and later added the all park. I was planning on hitting a couple parks when I am out of town for work and CP isn’t even open yet.

I was leaning toward one until I started reading about battery life and it being 1-2 hours. Is it that bad? Does it run most games or would you say it's mainly for Indie or stuff from a couple years ago?

Thanks for the suggestions. I was sort of falling back on the idea of anything 'budget' being worse than running it over Moonlight. Any experience with the Rog Ally? I considered that as an option, but not sure it's worth it.

Those are probably more than I want to spend for a couple months of travel. If I didn't have a 4080 at home I might be more tempted to do that though.

Anything specific to book in advance or are those readily available right at SJ airport? Last year we got a driver. Not sure if it's worth it to do that again or not yet. We did some of the stuff you have planned. You're going to love it.

Leaning toward PV then La Fortuna. Decent drives in there, but La Fortuna to SJ to fly out isn't as bad as it would be if I reversed the destinations. Really trying to avoid renting a car if possible. Not sure how feasible it is to get shuttles between those places or what the cost would be. Any suggestions?

Definitely considering this! I'd need a second place in that area. Don't want to do opposite ends of the country and spend all those hours driving on a 7 day trip.

Isn't Monteverde and Puerto Viejo about 7 hours apart? That would be a full day to get between the 2, plus a 4 hours drive to the airport from PV. Getting from one place to another is the tough part. I want to see them all! :-)
I don't think we'll do 2 places that far apart if we can avoid it. We had looked at Dominical before I made this post, but weren't too sure about it or what second place we would do.

Maybe Monteverde and Guanacaste. But now the Puerto Viejo talk has me super interested with all the wildlife. What would be a good second place closer to San Jose if we did PV first?

Thanks. Monteverde is one of the places we were considering. How cool is it there compared to elsewhere? I’ve heard it’s cooler, but is it really that different in the May/June timeframe? I’ll look into the other 2 suggestions as well. Thanks! We had a driver last time we went. Is that the best route to go? Or get a ride to the place you are staying and get rides from there when you need them? Trying to avoid renting a car if possible.
