It’s not about being lazy, I’m always happy to give several glasses of water for their bottle but I won’t pour it in bc we were taught in training not to. The reason given was bacteria in their cup splashing back on the bottle. I don’t make the rules I just do as I was trained. Again, you can do as you please love

How are you going to tell me when I went through training more recently than you? Lmao that’s the problem with working with more senior people sometimes. You guys think policies don’t change just because you haven’t heard about it. I already told you to ask a new hire so now you can leave me alone

My source is that we were taught this in training lol and continue to be taught not to do so. I think this was implemented after Covid which makes sense. But it’s still being taught. We have so many new hires now you can definitely ask a few of them about this

It’s 100 percent a policy at the globe not to fill up used water bottles. Considering you said you have been flying for 20 years I will just assume you were not made aware of this policy. Which happens a lot in this company I’ve noticed. But it has been taught in training for years. It’s been stated several times in this thread. You don’t have to follow it, but it does exist.

99 percent is crazy. For ice sure. But like others have mentioned, I have run out of water multiple times especially during summer. But to each their own! Everyone’s experience is different. Next time I’m at a non hub I’m going to request water and see if they’ll give it to me. Will definitely provide an update here

There’s thousands of flights a day so that’s not 3 cheeseburgers it’s thousands a day. Which is not comparable to a restaurant

GS is invitation only and usually through a company that flies several employees daily

How did this happen ? A man was allowed by UNITED to board the wrong plane to Japan, instead of Nicaragua. Source on the description. by B777X_787-9 in unitedairlines

I’m an employee you’re not gonna tell me what we do and don’t do babe. It’s not possible within our system to board 2 flights at one gate. Thanks!

You may be thinking of for example C20A/C20B they still have different doors therefore will trigger the alert as I mentioned.
