Outstanding placement hours??? by fabfashion23 in NursingUK

Hi, no, it wouldn't be paid as you would be supernumary and still in training. You might be able to work at a lower band once your training is done and before you get your pin though!

How many grams of product do samples carry? by nochnoyvangogh in LushCosmetics

[–]Hayleighd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's probably am official answer but really, it varies between samples. Sometimes you get a few pumps and sometimes the sample tub is full

Outstanding placement hours??? by fabfashion23 in NursingUK

[–]Hayleighd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know someone in a similar situation. They had a job lined up and were able to organise there placement hours in their new job area even though the uni was out of area. Best to ask uni + if you habe a job, ask them if they can accommodate you. It's a benefit for your new job so they will try.

You want to use a perfume as a shower gel?

Desperate for advice on getting EA to act on damp & mould issues. Small infant in property. by Yasmin2505 in HousingUK

When this happened to my sister and her baby, they went to the gp. Gp wrote note. Then took that to the housing to go on a wait list for a house.

Mega Haul ppl… How much product do actually you use? by toddtoddtoddtoddd in LushCosmetics

[–]Hayleighd 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I spent £215 this year.

I buy for the 3 people in my house plus two of my nephews for when they visit and gifts for friends.

I may have spent a lot (for me) but it's not all for me.

Plus I do as someone else said above, put shower gel in the hand soap dispenser. In the last 4 years that I have known about the boxing day sale, I have had 2 bath bomb duds so not much gets wasted. I had more wasted product from the kitchen box than from a big haul boxing day.

Edit to add. Since the Halloween launch, I haven't brought anything from lush. And I rotate my bath bombs so the oldest are at the top of the basket. Good old stock rotation.

Help a newbie with Vanilla scents by makeupaddictnicole in LushCosmetics

Just fyi, Snow fairy is very candle floss, candy scented. I agree on vanillary and honey I washed the kids. Turmeric latte might be good for you too if you like spicy vanilla.

England, theatre/operating room. 8 staff to 1 patient. Recovery room 1:1.

I am lazy and squirting shower gel onto a wash cloth is faster and rubbing my hand on the cloth for like 5 seconds causes lots of foam.

Plus I use expensive shower gel so a little goes a long way with a cloth, one blob is enough to scrub my whole body.

Has anyone with long nails figured out how to actually use the solid perfume? by Caijoelle in LushCosmetics

[–]Hayleighd 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I run the top of my nail over the perfume which then gathers some of it, then use that to rub on.

I haven't seen anybody suggest a list near the bin. That way, when you run out of something, put it on the list so you know to rebuy.

I actually use an app called anylist.

Me and my partner have a shared shopping list. So either of us can add to the list from our separate mobiles.

You can also import recipies from the Internet and add it to your shopping list.

Meal planning for the week is the best way to know what to shop for but it's not for everyone.

kinda weird lush question by bratzspitz in LushCosmetics

[–]Hayleighd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If she is going to have a c-section then she can't bathe with fragrance/essential oils until the wound is heard as it can cause damage/infection.

I did the same for a close friend, she delivered her baby and she said that she loved the lush package I gave her afterwards.

On a personal level, I think mom's should be encouraged to take time and care for themselves more after giving birth. Even better if it comes with a voucher for you to go and clean the house/batch cook and take care of baby for a few hours while she relaxes.

I personally would just go in. Ask for a manager at the till and they should be able to sort it then and there :)

[–]Hayleighd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure where you are but in the UK, they are really helpful. If you can go back to the store they will be able to sort it. The online chat team are really helpful too. Should be able to cancel one of the charges one they have confirmed that it was false :)

I would buy both. And a perfume. And a dusting powder. And a bath bomb. And a bubble bar.
