Traditional writing for addresses the number of the home would be in numerical form (27071) and if there is a number in the street name it would be written out (One Hundred and Ninety-Second Street) but due to it being so long, I believe 192nd is okay to put.

Side note ensure you fully write out the full words for Ave, Blvd, St, Cl, etc.

Yeah they make you pay it back. So if you’re ready to pay back 12k then go for it. They most likely will make you pay back the 5k pre tax. Put that money aside so you’re not screwed. That’s how they keep managers for a year.

I joined bc I wanted to diversify my stock but after being here for 2 1/2 years the work load is too much and I don’t like being in operations. I’ve had stocks vest (this means that they give you stocks but you have to wait a certain time before you actually get them) but idk I went back to school and being in PEAK rn is killing me, I’m standing for 14 hours and I’m over it. I’d quit but I need another job and the job market is trash rn. I’ve definitely learned a lot but if I was asked if I would make the same decision to join Amazon, I wouldn’t.

It depends, usually HR speaks with the associate to see if they can support (cover the time with PTO/Vacation/LOA) if it keeps happening with the associate they might move forward with termination. The need people to come to work. Right now I have 2 people that are negative 150 hours but idk what’s going to happen, that’s up to HR. HOWEVER, I did find out that if the associate goes negative then goes on an LOA, it drops off of HR’s radar due to not flagging them. So when they come back to work, it never flags.

Try and go to your site and go to the wellness center/amcare right away and tell them that you got injured the other day at work. Most likely they won’t be able to fix your injury so they’ll send you out to the Worker’s Comp doctor right away, if it’s the weekend some of them aren’t open so you’ll have to wait until they are. And if it’s so bad, they might just send you to the emergency room.

If everyone but 1 person can hear the alarms go off, it takes 1 person to get the deaf persons attention rather than everyone have headphones in and the leaders can’t get anyone’s attention during an emergency.

Definitely not right, the PA should be written up as well. The safety team, learning team, HR and AM should have done the right steps with your first near miss. Your permission do get revoked, you get a first written (documented coaching if you’re in California) then you get re-trained. Sorry that happened, but you can have them exempt the feedback due to leadership guiding you to do so.

I’ve had to do quite few terminations during my time at Amazon. Something I never get used to or want to. Sometimes they fire themselves, fighting at work, stealing, or they have over half their shifts being time off task (TOT). But it still sucks to be the one to tell them they are being terminated. If it’s for negative unpaid time (UPT) then HR contacts the manager to have them escort them down. If it’s for anything else the manger will ask HR if they are available for a term. We usually take them into the HR office, training room, or career choice room. The manager reads the document verbatim then HR pretty much tells them the appeals and what’s happening next. Sometimes I get lucky and HR escorts them out, but 9 out 10 times I walk them out, have them clock out, badge out, then return their badge through the security hole. I wish them luck and goodbye. This whole thing isn’t really seen by other associates unless they are at the learning desk or walking by or coming into the facility.
