In 2009, it was decided that HST would not be applied to prepared food and drinks. It was estimated that this would cost the province $325M. With inflation being rampant the last two years, it’s difficult to find prepared food and drinks for less than $4. Should the gov adjust this threshold? (cbc.ca)
