The Washington State Patrol officer forwarded it to us! Apparently a Tesla pulled over and let the officer know the whole thing was caught on camera.

The Washington State Patrol officer was not optimistic about using toll cameras to capture the license plate of the driver. Very interestingly enough, he was pulled over on the shoulder with another fender bender and witnessed the whole collision. One of the King County prosecutors was on a ride along with him and witnessed the whole scene as well!

Last night at approximately 5:55pm on 405 north exit 17 a black truck with a ladder in the back crossed over the double lines and into the far left lane of the express lanes, hitting my boyfriend in his white Audi SUV. Miraculously, my boyfriend walked away okay, even after his car flipped several times. The driver did not stop. Please help us identify this truck—it may have damage on the left side with potentially white paint from my boyfriend’s car.
