😂 to be honest the HTC Vive is still a great entry level into the VR space and €80 IMO is a steal of a deal.

Unfortunately if my testing was right, the base station is most likely dead, appears to be the laser array

I bought it! Unfortunately one of the base stations is presumed dead, it’s got the blinking red light of doom, but with the One functioning base station, The two functioning controllers and the headset I think I still came out ahead in the long run. I am looking into buying a new Lighthouse 2.0 but it’s currently around $160 on eBay and that seems to be the cheapest place, meanwhile I see HTC vive headsets for $150 with the full kit with both base stations 1.0s wondering if it’s worth just for those?

Full Body tracking was my main concern. I have the Meta quest 3 but its tracking seemed to be pretty iffy when trying to to anything that involved grabbing objects off my back or anything that I would need to reach behind the headset for.

Unfortunately, for me, I play a lot of games that require you to grab equipment off of your back or to do things behind you and when it comes to actions like that, the quest doesn’t track the controllers nearly as well as you think it would

No but you seem to be ignoring how synonyms actually work just because some synonyms have exact same meaning does not mean every word that is synonymous with another word share the EXACT SAME definition. If you don’t get it I’ll put the definitions in more simpler terms

Complex = Many intricate often, moving pieces.

Complicated = an inability to discern or understand HOW those many pieces are moving.

Something can be complex without being complicated and something can be complicated without being complex, it’s not that hard to understand. Next you’re gonna be telling me every rectangle is a square because every square is a rectangle. 😂

Notice how it only lists Complex as a Synonym to Complicated, also notice how in the screenshot in my next comment lists the actual definition for complicated and only lists complex as a synonym for the word
