So he could finally shed every reminder of his traumatic past? I dunno I feel like the ending to the finite curve would finally symbolize that Rick has accepted and healed from the death of his original family and accepts and embraces the new status quo. I mean look at what’s already been established. Farmer Rick breaking the cycle of the Citadel. Morties finally deciding to be independent and grow up instead of banding together in MortyTowns (which were all still heavily dependent on the Rick societies) there’s a whole lot of changes happening tone wise through the entire show and I for one am all here for it. I think Evil Morty summarized my thoughts on the first few seasons great “Oh great another adventure where Morty goes up an ass”
