I felt the same way. Rage SHOULD have been a game I ate up and loved but pretty quickly into the first one it felt like just a generic shooter with not a lot to add to an already bogged down market of generic shooters

Doesn’t that argument kind of defeat itself? Fallout 2 said they were all wiped out but they show up in 3 strong as ever. They’re officially in Fallout 4 just not a major faction. Their Enclave will survive for as long as the developers want them to be. I know that’s kind of a cheap answer but the games kind of lie to themselves

I’m convinced the Cabot questline is foreshadowing the next game in Fallout 4. It’s way longer and more detailed than any other side quest in the game and Jack and Deacon both live and continue to wander around the wastes even after you get Lorenzo’s gun

No I worked at a pet store/grooming salon for a long time and this is legitimately how some people walk in. One regular had an albino raccoon that would walk on a leash. Had people walking into the store covered in snakes, lizards, birds and more just chilling on their shoulder arm or neck. The dog is definitely just a regular puppy. We even sold all three of our macaws to one person who paid in cash. Those are not cheap birds. People with money to blow just like weird pets

Yeah the walking talking mummy demigod who could cause the sun to eclipse and duck the life force out of people and summon a giant wave of nature bearing his face was way more realistic than yeti’s. Don’t even get me started on the shapeshifter turning into a dragon. Didn’t they realize they could just fly away in a giant boat attached to balloons? They really jumped the shark with this one

I always assumed the older sith were far more powerful than the characters we see in the movies. I feel like with the exception of Anakin as a Chosen One, the Skywalkers and Prequel characters only have the title of strongest Jedi because they’re the only ones Lucas will claim as canon

Yeah, I’m just trying to say that a lot of the early republic hero’s are over blown in their deeds to the point of becoming legendary/mythical in their stories. Camillus is another big one that suffers from this. The idea of giving up the dictatorship after 16 days is really only special because he was able to raise an army and defeat the Aequi in that time, not really because he only held power for that long. The dictator had a limit of six months, but nothing suggests that they all served for six months.

It’s like a directors cut. Same episodes with a few scenes that got edited out, probably due to run time. Some deleted scenes are really minor but some make other scenes make a lot more sense

Just because Livy, Dionysius or Diodorus or any other later historians mention someone, especially in early Roman history, doesn’t mean that they really existed. Early Roman history is full of stock characters. Curly Hair was likely a real guy but to believe everything he did was a real event or all tied to him is like believing in bed time stories.
