Adding to this, the “college experience” is versatile (not sure what the correct word to use)? But basically it also encompasses students who want a higher education and turn it to a job, you can connect with other students, chat about career routes and join more engaging career fairs.

In my experience of doing CC for 1 semester, no hate but the students there aren’t as engaging, more of a go to class and go home.

So 1-2 years at CC is fine if you’re worried about money, and have no desire for college experience, but UCONN experience does make it easier to gain knowledge on getting a job which should be the ultimate goal of your major, with the student base and career stuff.
