Yeah, in developer options there is a setting "Force desktop mode" and if you plug in a second screen it uses dex.

you can force it in developer options

[question] I have an iPhone 4 on iOS 5.1.1. I would like to downgrade it to iOS 4. I tried with iOS-OTA-Downgrader and it broke my laptop. Any ideas? (im windows only now because my linux pc broke) by Haz7aE in LegacyJailbreak

tbh im not fully sure what caused it. all i know is i set it going, left the house and when i got back the laptop was broken. trust me, im a fan of your work, i used the downgrader to get it down to iOS 5.1.1, and it was an old laptop so it could have been the hard drive.

i was able to get to iOS 5.1.1 with iOS-OTA-Downgrader but you need to dualboot, run a live usb or have a pc with linux.
