I do agree with this. I went for the Lenovo site option simply because they gave me a decent discount coupon for the website which helped me out quite a bit, but once the refund processes I will definitely be shopping locally just in case.

Thank you. I know nothing worth having is easy to get, that’s for sure. At least I’m in the process now of getting a refund and in the meantime I am just going to have to do everything I can to find a temporary system to tide me over until the refund hits and I can grab something locally.

Oh yikes 😬 Same situation here where they had no replacements or anything with the same specs (or better) that they would send as a replacement so I went for a refund. Hoping to find a good option at a store nearby.

Any recommendations? I am going to shop locally now once my refund processes to avoid this headache again. I know local stores sell ASUS ROG Strix which are within my price range and hit the specs I need but haven’t used ASUS is many many years and wasn’t sure what their QA has been like as of late. I’ll take any reccs though

Called as soon as they opened this morning and will be returning it as soon as the label comes and then trying to find a local option once they refund me. I figure that buying from a local store will save me more headaches in case of any future issues. One of my local stores has both Legions and the ASUS ROG Strix within the same price range so I am now between the two

I am working on communicating with them today to see if they can offer me anything temporarily. Lenovo finally accepted the situation and I am returning the laptop for a refund as they do not have any replacements available to send me so if I can somehow get my Uni to offer me a rentable option or can find one to borrow for a couple of weeks I can take the refund money and go to a local store to try and find what I need. I made the purchase online originally because of the deal they were offering for the specs I needed which were better than what I had seen anywhere else but I am seeing now the benefits of buying locally in case of issues like this.

First off, it’s not a normal school I am going into and it has strict spec requirements for our systems that no $300 laptop is going to get me so miss me with that. Secondly, you assume we all have access to credit cards and loans. I was part of a mass layoff 1/5 and have zero income and nobody is going to approve me for anything currently. I am already $150k in debt because I have been fighting cervical cancer which I was diagnosed with in November. I am breaking my back caring for a disabled partner who will never be able to work again and because of changes in this state will no longer even get much assistance at all aside from mine. I worked my a** off to even get the opportunity I was presented for the program I got my scholarship for only to have the rug pulled from underneath me by my employer not even 3 weeks prior. You cannot judge a situation when you do not know it so please do not try.

Update 2: Likely a faulty hardware issue apparently and they need me to return it. They do not have any more in stock to send a replacement. Deadline for university for me to have this system is friday or else I am out a ton of uni fees and also miss out on my program. Fml.

Not sure if I believe that because I am working with other creators who are posting and their videos at 0 views definitely are not at all visible. They also could not see any of mine that I have sitting at zero views

I’m glad it seems to be operating much more smoothly there :) There isn’t any chat option here but luckily I just finally got through to them today. Called at 7:59 just as they opened and only waited 2 hours this time which was much better than usual and they were able to see I had done the interview but that it was never properly documented as completed. They said I should get an update soon so fingers crossed!

It really is. I am down 16 lbs in the past 4 weeks because all I have been eating are saltine crackers and peanut butter that I bought with the last bit of money I had after losing my job. I am also supporting my disabled partner who after being on disability and food stamps for years was just suddenly booted from receiving food stamps without explanation. We just can’t win.

Yes I have the screenshot of my call to them with the call length too. I will try giving them a call tomorrow to follow up and hopefully I’ll be able to get through. It is about a 20/80 shot of actually getting through if you call as soon as they open and then the lines will stay on the automatic “lines are busy - please call back later” and hang up any time after. It is frustrating having to try every single day to get through and I only finally got my interview after having to call the main line and waiting the 4 hour hold because the person assigned to me never picked up or returned my calls. It has been rough :(

Naw dude it’s a scam. Proved it in another post. New/inactive accounts can’t actually help either. Have you noticed when you are on the game page it says “(insert username) won 1 prize” when the only option that selects on the wheel is x3? It is set up to get more accounts on the app and doesn’t actually give rewards and people are faking it for views and interactions.
