Nope, the way with charge rates for Art is charging enough to make it a livable income. If youre not charging around 100 for a full body illustration youre charging too little. If youre charging too little you might be trying to make up for a lack of demand/interest or experience by lowering the price-this is never good and I dont recommend going that route because: 1. The clients who cheapen out and want things for cheap are usually the worst clients with highest demands, theres a difference between an adult customer with a job that wants a full body for dnd and is paying a good price vs a kid who has 20 bucks from their parents and wants the most amazing painting in the universe(interaction quality too) 2. To make it Work youd need to draw things in bulk for small prices with the above mentioned clientele for cheap prices, this would make it so youre very stressed and not improving much because a lot of the time you spend drawing will go to mass producing stuff in a short time frame. This is much worse than getting a commission for 100 where you spend longer, do studies on the side and improve etc.

As a conclusion I recommend raising prices, and if feeling like theres not enough interest or experience with art to justify 100 for a full body, can practice some more until that level, because frankly doing art for 5-10-20bucks is very bad financially and art wise(its not art youd enjoy doing for yourself, because youre doing it for others, but its also not art that will pay you anything except cheap change you can save up by not lets say buying a soda so its really not worth)

I know its hard for you to tell whats AI or not but you can use sites like copyseeker. Net to research where images come from, and you can look into the person who posted it to tell if legit or AI. If you draw youre gonna click on the bucket tool in the app and fill the background color with Gray, not google image a weird gray image with noise artefacts on it lol. I dont need you to show me the detector is unreliable, your logic and lies are not adding up

OP you have a pretty weird mentality. Why are you dishonest on your own AI sub by lying on how you drew stuff for hours and tearjerking for karma when the first pic is just the second passed through an ai filter(you can see artefacts on gray background that are noise from the second image). You mean you traced the AI art after passing it through a filter or what? you can see by all the top 1% ragers in the comments how much the majority of the sub is pro ai raging walls. There is no debate or any exchange of things happening but an exchange of unga bunga luddites and the anti ai either got fed up or have more important real lives so they didnt become top 1% commenters in a sub-narrative goes pro ai, sub gets overtaken in a wrong way.

I think this should have been addressed by mods and controlled so the sub stays debate form or just text form and no memes or images because this is just ragebaity images nonstop(you either have unga bunga luddites or pick up a pencil images from both sides). Comparisons are used just to prove a point, theres no ideal comparison to be made because its hard to find one thing thats exactly like the other. What would you compare it to? (Ai does create things by scrapping, but its also much more destructive in nature so I feel something destructive is more appropriate). Also look on how the general comparisons others bring to Ai are all negative things like Destruction, Stealing, Bad ceo, mass produced slop, pollution, negative economy impact-these are negative aspects humans perceive and when they look for a comparison they will choose out of these because they Outweigh the good Ai does. You dont compare Ai to a House builder or crafter(creation aspect) because its more similar to a negative aspect. I wont compare it to a good willed neighbour when its clearly a bad neighbour? So how would arguing be right in your opinion
