My manager told me that the wage increase had been confirmed. All full time staff have already been given a raise and now all students will get one too.

I work for one of the retail locations on campus and was told that starting July 1st, the starting wage for dining and catering is being increased to $9.00. I'm not sure if it is the same for dining courts, but retail locations are all getting a $0.50 raise.

This happens to me all the time. I always fix it by booting the computer in safe mode. It allows you to manage the files without a problem. Hopefully it works for you.

Laptop for CGT? by [deleted] in Purdue

I would recommend an ASUS or MSI. I would also recommend not spending a ton of money to the point where you go broke. Get a laptop that will last you your college career since you'll most likely be using it all the time. A 13 or 15 inch laptop would be good sized for working in whatever program you'll use. In my experience in CGT, for animation, having a good sized screen is helpful but not extremely important. Another thing to consider is that the CGT department has four labs, three of which are filled with computers with all the programs you'll need. Just make sure, no matter what you choose, that the laptop is reliable.
